Rwanda Kwibuka marks the significant 30th commemoration of the tragic 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. RCA members based in Singapore, particularly those from NTU, and their families attended the event in person, showing their solidarity and remembrance. Meanwhile, RCA members from other countries, mainly comprised of university students, joined the event virtually to pay their respects.

Our team had to be particularly discreet in documenting this solemn event, as several survivors took the opportunity to share their deeply personal stories and impactful experiences, highlighting the importance of remembrance and reflection.
